Carol's Closet, which features new and used clothing on consignment, has opened at 1020 N. Kingshighway, adjacent to Carol-Cyn's Fashion.

"We've expanded our business," said Carol Schwettman, owner of the women's apparel shop, which opened in September 1989. "We're adding another 1,200 square feet of space for the consignment operation. We now occupy Suites B and C at Sunset Towers business building."

Carol's Closet will feature all types of clothing for men, women and children, said Schwettman.

The new store will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Schwettman also noted that the firm has added two new employees Chickie Nenninger and Tamra Essmyer.
