PVT. RUSSEL B. GRAMMER

U.S. ARMY

Private Grammer is the son of Bobby and Sue Grammer of Cape Girardeau.

He graduated from Cape Central High School in 1989 and joined the Army that same year.

He completed basic training at Ft. Knox, Ky., and has been stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas. He was deployed to Saudi Arabia on Dec. 31.

He was trained in M1-A1 tanks with the "Big Red 1" of Ft. Riley.

His mother said he loves to read, enjoys music, (he took a tape player with him), and like snacks of any kind. He would love to hear from friends and anyone wishing to write. "May God bless everyone reaching out to those serving over there," she said.
