RALLY SLATED IN SUPPORT OF TROOPS IN GULF

CAPE GIRARDEAU - A rally in support of troops serving in the Middle East will be held on the Southeast Missouri State University campus Tuesday at 6 p.m.

The "Yellow Ribbon Rally," which will be held in front of Academic Auditorium, is being organized by the staff of Dearmont dormitory.

"We feel our display of positive energy would be beneficial to our students and to the Cape Girardeau community," said Theresa Lowery, one of the organizers.

Those who attend are asked to bring candles and lighters. Yellow ribbons will be distributed as a symbol of support.
