CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Leah Vails has joined the D.J. Beauty Mart, 1020 N. Kingshighway here.

Darlene Barham, owner of the salon, announced Vails' appointment this week.

Vails, of Dexter, is a graduate of The Clip Joint School of Cosmetology at Springfield, Mo. She also attended Southwest Missouri State University at Springfield.

Vails has more than two years' experience in manicure work and specializes in the OPI line of nails and in pedicures.

She recently moved back to Southeast Missouri.
