VOCATIONAL WEEK SET FOR FEB. 11-16

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Cape Girardeau Area Vocational-Technical School will observe American Vocational Association Week Feb. 11-16.

Several events are scheduled. Monday through Friday, sixth-grade students from area schools will tour the school and see skill demonstrations.

On Feb. 12 at 7:15 a.m., a breakfast is planned at the school for members of the vocational staff, the school board and invited guests. That night the vocational staff will host a hospitality table prior to the school board meeting.

On Feb. 16, members of the staff will man a display table and distribute information at West Park Mall concerning vocational programs.
