CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The bilingual production of Antoine de Saint Exupery's "The Little Prince" will be performed April 2 by the National Theater of the Performing Arts, Lmt., based in Westport, Conn.

The performance will be at Academic Auditorium.

Performing in English and in French, the theater group will use an "instant replay technique" to incorporate both languages.

At the end of various scenes performed in English, the lights will be turned off and a strobe light will be focused on the actors. The actors will slowly walk backwards through the entire scene, creating the illusion of a motion picture film running in reverse. The lights then will be turned on and the scene replayed in French.
