CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Harry Rediger, manager of JCPenney, West Park Mall, recently accepted a United Way Award at Dallas, Texas, in behalf of the associates at the local store.

The West Park Mall store was one of six JCPenney stores nationally that were honored for conducting the best United Way campaigns.

Rediger accepted the plaque from Chairman of the Board W. R. Howell for the store's achievement.

The local JCPenney store's 1990 campaign produced a total of $10,800 for local United Way agencies.

"Our people show a lot of dedication and enthusiasm for the United Way campaign," said Rediger.
