`GETTING READY FOR STRESS' TOPIC; PARENTS GROUP MEETS TUESDAY

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- A Community Counseling Center therapist will discuss "Getting Ready For Stress" at Tuesday's meeting of Parents Supporting Parents.

The presentation by therapist Linda Fulton will focus on stress management for parents.

The meeting will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

Fulton is a therapist with the comprehensive psychiatric rehabilitation program at the Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau.

She previously worked in children's services at the center.

The Parents Supporting Parents group meets on the third Tuesday of each month at St. Andrew Church. The group consists of parents of children with severe emotional problems.

There is no membership fee. The group is sponsored by the Community Counseling Center and affiliated with the Missouri Child and Adolescent Service System Project.
