CAPE GIRARDEAU - The Cape Girardeau Circle 603 Daughters of Isabella will host a state convention in Cape Girardeau May 17-19. The event is expected to draw several hundred women from throughout the state.

This is the 62nd annual state meeting of Daughters of Isabella. In all, 29 circles of Missouri Daughters of Isabella will be represented at the meeting.

Bishop John J. Leibrecht of Springfield will be the keynote speaker at the Saturday, May 18 banquet. The bishop will lead a mass at Old St. Vincent's Church Sunday morning. After the mass, new officers will be installed at a brunch at Drury Lodge.

The Sikeston Circle at St. Francis Xavier will be in charge of activities and dinner on Friday, May 17.
