ORAN STUDENT ATTENDS LEADERSHIP SEMINAR

ORAN - Veronica Walter, a sophomore at Oran High School, has recently returned from attending the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership conference in St. Louis. There, she met with other youth leaders from around the state to discuss issues such as censorship, the environment, education and America's incentive system.

All HOBY participants also visited the Arch in downtown St. Louis, and listened to lectures at Washington University.

Walter is active in Future Homemakers of America, Future Business Leaders of America, band and the cheerleading squad.
