AREA STUDENT COMPETES AT STATE DISNEY CONTEST

PERRYVILLE -- Cheri Brown, a junior at St. Vincent Catholic High School, will compete at the state level in the Dreamers and Doers competition sponsored by the Walt Disney company.

The national competition recognizes students who are active in trying to improve their schools and communities.

State winners will attend a workshop at Walt Disneyland in Florida this summer.

Brown is a member of Students Against Driving Drunk, the St. Vincent band and the Spanish Club.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Brown of Perryville.
