RIVERFEST T-SHIRTS NOW ARE ON SALE

The 1991 version of the Cape Girardeau Riverfest T-shirt is now on sale through the Riverfest Association.

The powder-gray shirts feature a red, white and blue Riverfest logo over a riverboat silhouette. Advance orders will be accepted through Saturday.

Riverfest Association T-shirt chairman Cheryl Bowman said the advance sale price of $6 per shirt is about $2 less than the shirts will sell for during Riverfest June 7-8.

"This is the third year that we've sold Riverfest T-shirts," Bowman said. The 1991 T-shirts have been designed and printed by Horizon Screen Printing in Cape Girardeau.

Revenue from shirt sales help support the non-profit Riverfest Association as well as promoting the event.
