SERVICE AWARD

Richard Bess, service manager at Van Matre Buick in Cape Girardeau, recently placed sixth in the nation in Buick's World Class Service competition. He was one of 175 winners in the contest, which is based on customer satisfaction.

Results were tabulated from surveys returned by customers evaluating service on the company's new car, 12-month warranty.

Bess and his wife, Linda, won an all expense paid trip to Maui, Hawaii, for one week. This is the second time Bess has received the award.

Van Matre Buick has earned the Best in Class Award for the fifth consecutive year. The award recognizes the top 100 Buick dealers for customer satisfaction, and sales and service factors. The competition is among the 3,000 plus Buick dealers in the nation.
