JACKSON -- The fourth annual Working Crafts Festival will be going on this weekend at the St. Louis Iron Mountain and Southern Railway in Jackson.

Crafters will demonstrate, display and sell their handmade items from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Many items will be available for sale, including quilts, furniture, pillows, dolls, wind chimes, pottery and more. An artist also will be available to draw caricatures.

Richard Henson, a third-generation broom-maker, will be telling the history of his craft as he works.

Trains will run Saturday at 9 and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. Tickets for the train rides are $8 for adults and $4 for children 3-12. Riders on horseback will rob each train to help make the weekend fun, organizers said.
