CYBERTEL LOOKS TO NEW BUILDING

CyberTel Cellular Telephone Company of Southeast Missouri held groundbreaking ceremonies recently for a new regional headquarters building in Cape Girardeau.

The new building will be located at the intersection of Kingshighway and Broadway.

Wayne Smith, general manager of the local firm, said the building is scheduled for completion by late summer.

"We've been offering our cellular telephone services to Southeast Missouri residents since May 13," said Smith. "Response has been overwhelming. When this building is completed, it will enable us to serve our customers better, not only by providing a convenient location, but it will also place the sales, service and installation departments all under one roof."

CyberTel currently has temporary business and retail offices at 106 Farrar, and an installation site at 2410 William.
