DELTA -- Five players scored in double figures for Delta as the Bobcats picked up a big victory by slipping past visiting Richland Tuesday night.

Robbie Seay and Neil Hester each scored 14 points for Delta. Tony Martin and Chandler Blackstone both had 12 while Ron Kielhafner added 11.

"We finally put four solid quarters together," said Delta coach Scott Sikes, whose squad evened its record at 10-10 and dropped Richland to 16-7. "The guys just did a real good job. Tony Martin especially had a good game with 12 steals and Robbie Seay really ran the team well."

The Bobcats, who led 16-14 after one quarter and 34-29 at halftime, held Jeff Ross to just 14 points. Ross is the leading male scorer in Southeast Missouri, averaging nearly 25 points per game.

"He was a little cold and we kept a hand in his face," Sikes said. "We caused him a few problems and he was frustrated. In fact, he got ejected with about four minutes left in the game."
