One of the first priorities for the fairgrounds at Arena Park is the construction of a permanent show arena. Other needs, including ongoing maintenance items, will be compiled into a list of future improvements to be funded by the foundation.

Thanks to NationsBank, the new fair foundations if off to a good start. Fund-efforts for the fair will begin in earnest next year.

As popular and well-attended as the district fair is, year in and year out, it can be hoped that the foundation will receive the needed support to make the event next year even bigger and better.
