To the editor:

Much has been said in recent days about being judgmental of others, such as how one should dress in church. God's Word is very clear about the subject of judging one another, as it is about the subject of our need to love one another.

I recently read the following from a pastor's sermon notes. Jesus walked with the disciples through good times and bad times, during picnics and in the middle of storms. When they failed him, when they disappointed him, when they denied him, he reached out to them to help them continue to walk with him.

What a powerful love he had for them, and it is his desire and commandment that we love one another as he loves us.

Let us walk together in love and stop judging one another.
