Were you there? If not, you missed a wonderful evening of entertainment by the Jerry Ford orchestra a Rose Theater on June 3. The concert was a fund raiser for the Cape River Heritage Museum.

Jerry and his orchestra of accomplished musicians donated their expertise for this event.

The concert and artists who performed gave ultimate pleasure to all present.

I hope this big-band swing music will continue to make a comeback and be enjoyed by present and future music lovers.

Jerry and his orchestra are to be commended. Thank you for bringing back many memories and delighting the appreciative audience. Thanks also to the vocalist, Pat Blackwell, the accomplished ballroom dance team from Paducah and the young saxophone artist from Jackson, Jonathan Kleinhample.

It was a super-enjoyable concert.
