To the editor:

On March 13, J.O. Green, a science teacher at Campbell High School from 1972 to 1989 died in an automobile accident. Mr. Green touched the lives of many students at CHS, and we thought it only appropriate that we continue helping students in honor of Mr. Green's dedication to our school.

We are asking for help in establishing an endowed scholarship to be named the J.O. Green Memorial Science Scholarship. A generous donation has been made to ensure that this award will be presented for the first time to a 1999 graduate.

Your donation may be sent to: J.O. Green Memorial Science Scholarship Fund, Campbell R-II Schools, 801 S. State Route 53, Campbell, Mo. 63933.
