LETTERS: SHOW APPREICATION FOR TEACHERS

To the editor:

Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Cape Girardeau Central High School faculty and staff for the open house they held on the hot evening of Sept. 3.

You impressed me by your professionalism. You seemed to know your subject areas. You had clear plans to teach the material. You offered the keys to success for the taking.

As we moved from class to class sampling each of our student's seven daily periods, teacher after teacher communicated their willingness to talk to parents or to assist students with extra help before or after school. From past experience, I know they do this.

They deserve 100 percent parental support and our expressed appreciation. Take time to call, write a note or just say thank you to a teacher for a job well done.
