The Southeast Missourian newspapers were delivered for teachers to use with their students. I wanted to share the great feeling I had when I heard a teacher exclaim, "Wow!. We got newspapers today." That's not all. The sixth grade students who participated in selling the YELL newspapers Sept. 15 were overjoyed to received their own personal copy of the Southeast Missourian. The YELL program continues to build enthusiasm within our students who were already intrinsically motivated to hawk the YELL newspaper.

Thank you for allowing us to participate in the YELL program. As you can tell, TELL has made a remarkable impact on the elementary students of Oak Ridge Elementary School. We look forward to our continued partnership in making the meaning of literacy known.
