LETTERS: POLICE COMMEND PHOTOGRAPHER
To the editor: I would like to take this opportunity to extend our appreciation to Mr. Don Shrubshell, your staff photographer, for his assistance in two recent cases in Cape Girardeau. As a result of Mr. Shrubshell's quick thinking and willingness to get involved, we were able to recapture a prisoner who had walked away from a work program, as well as identify two juveniles responsible for the theft of private property...Richard L. As a result of Mr. Shrubshell's quick thinking and willingness to get involved, we were able to recapture a prisoner who had walked away from a work program, as well as identify two juveniles responsible for the theft of private property.

Mr. Shrubshell has been a longtime friend to the Cape Girardeau Police Department. His spirit of cooperation coupled with his technical expertise have proved invaluable to our community.
