To the editor:

On behalf of the Southeast District Square Dance Federation, we want to thank you for the publicity you gave to our benefit dance.

We raised $322. AAL Branch 1621 of Jackson will match that, giving us a total of $644 that will be given to the Safe House for Women.

The Safe House plans to buy a washer and dryer for the facility. It is in dire need of another washing and dryer.

We saw the publicity in the Southeast Missourian and also in the Jackson USA paper. We very much appreciated the picture and the caption under it.
