LETTERS: PARTICIPANTS SUPPORT AMERICORP
To the editor: As current members of AmeriCorps in Southeast Missouri, we would like to reply to the comment in Speak Out Aug. 12. The members make the program, along with support from staff. When problems arise, they are addressed and resolved. In an individual has a problem with the local program, it should first be presented directly to the group, not anonymously through Speak Out. We work together as a team to make the program successful, and we are proud of our accomplishments...Ellen Watkins
