Thank you very much for your recent publicity regarding Dr. Richard L. Kies of Cape Girardeau and his assistance with $40,000 of laser and cataract eye surgery equipment for the people of Poland.

As you know, Pope John Paul II blessed Dr. Kies along with Dr. Amar Atwal for this courageous and selfless effort.

The Polish American Congress, representing 12 million American sof Polish descent, is extremely grateful to you for your coverage of the effort by Dr. Kies for the betterment of the people of Poland. thank you for your support and consideration.
