THE PUBLIC MIND: ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS MISS THE MARK
To the Editor: To quote from the "60 Minutes" segment of Jan. 24, 1993: "A rat is a cat is a pig is a dog is a boy." Incredible! Animal rights activists should channel their energy toward "the boy" part of this slogan. All the baby boys (and girls) involved in fetal tissue research are a lot more important than any animal ever was or will be!...Sharon Hopkins

If only animal rights activists were as concerned about aborted children as they are about cats!
