To Citizens of Cape Girardeau:

As the Chairman of the Cape Girardeau Cable TV Citizens Committee, my purpose in writing this letter is to solicit your participation in an upcoming Town Hall Meeting. As you may know, Cape Girardeau is currently negotiating the cable franchise with TCI. Receiving input from the community is an integral part of that process. This is where your organization and all other organizations, businesses, churches and individuals come into play.

On Jan. 27, 1992, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 401 Independence, a Town Hall Meeting will take place. Citizens will be given an opportunity to present concerns and/or suggestions they may have for the betterment of cable television in Cape Girardeau.

It is expected that numerous individuals may wish to address the committee and, therefore, it may be necessary to limit each person's time. It would be most helpful if you could contact us by letter or telephone and inform us of your interest in participating in the Town Hall Meeting to enable us to organize the agenda. You may contact the committee by letter at City Hall, 401 Independence, P.O. Box 617, Cape Girardeau, Mo., 63702-0617, or by telephone at 334-3036.
