Attention St. Louis Cardinal baseball management! Please give me a look-see.

I am a right-handed pitcher, available for short- and long-term relief. Mike Shannon may describe me as a stocky, 6-foot 136-pounder. I am 55 years old. However, I have an arm like a 77 year old.

A big advantage to signing me would be that I would not demand a huge salary. A minor disadvantage would be that, when it came to coming in and out of the bullpen or, for that matter, on and off the field, I may need transportation.

I think you should give me serious consideration. If nothing else, I would be a novelty. The radar gun wouldn't even register.

And if, in my relief role, I ever got the opposing side out in order, I would be considered by Cardinal fans a pitching phenom. Relatively speaking.
