YOUTH BRIEFS: NEW OPTIMIST INDOOR SOCCER LEAGUE HOLDS REGISTRATION

Registration for the Noon Optimist Club Indoor Soccer League will begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Show Me Center.

The registration fee will be $25 per child. Spaces are limited and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

League play will begin in early December and conclude by the end of January. Games will be played in Houck Field House and at the Southeast Missouri State University Student Recreation Center.

The league will have the following divisions: Kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, sixth grade, seventh-and-eighth grade and high school students who have remaining eligibility. The league is open to boys and girls.

There will be at least seven games per team and participants will receive a team shirt. Anyone interested in sponsoring a team may call Craig Billmeyer at 334-0555 or 335-4181.
