Alice Lee Boyd, 69, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Missouri Baptist Hospital.

She was born March 23, 1951, in Shaw, Mississippi, to the late Isom Combs and Willie B. Wells Lawson. She married Frank Boyd Jr., and he survives.

Alice worked for Montgomery family for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.

Loving survivors include her husband, Frank Boyd Jr.; daughters, Nadiaya (Edward) Sutton of Cape Girardeau and Nina Boyd of Sikeston, Missouri; sons, Morris (Danielle) Boyd of Cape Girardeau, Frederick (Zabrina) Comb of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Frank (Shuvette) Boyd III of Cape Girardeau; mother, Bertha Combs of St. Louis; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Walter Combs and wife, Joyce Brooks and husband, Marilynn Combs, Roger Combs, Benita Combs, Kenneth Combs and wife, Esther Combs and wife, Cathy Simmons and husband, Jermaine Combs and Edaka Cox and husband; and special friends, William Ransom of Cape Girardeau and Johnean Smith of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Terrial Boyd; grandson, Ryan Walker; and siblings, Jacqueline Combs, Ron Combs, Isom Combs Jr. and Robert Combs.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

Funeral will follow at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with Bishop Calvin Byrd officiating. Burial will take place at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
