CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Lois Imogene Anderson, daughter of the late James Wesley Stanfield and Mabel Longacre Stanfield was born Sept. 3, 1932, in Steel, Missouri, and departed this life Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee at the age of 87 years.

Lois was a former Sewing Machine Operator at the International Hat Factory in Oran, Missouri, and Columbia Sportswear in Chaffee. She was a member of Hooe Baptist Church and a former resident of Oran.

On Nov. 20, 1946, she was united in marriage to Rusty Anderson. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1997.

Survivors include sons, Tom (Donna) Anderson of Scott City, Mark (Karen) Anderson of Oran, Missouri; daughter, Charlotte (James) Eftink of Bloomsdale, Missouri; brothers, Charles Stanfield of Canal Winchester, Ohio, and Bill Stanfield and J.W. Stanfield, both of Cape Girardeau; sister, Janet Pry of Dexter, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Matthew Eftink and Keith Anderson.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donnie Ford officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley, Missouri.

The family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
