Wanda Foster

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Wanda Foster, 66 years of age, of Marble Hill went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, at the Southeast Hospital.

She was born March 30, 1954, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Sherman William and Elsie Lou Upchurch Lincoln. She and David Foster were united in marriage on Oct. 23, 1998.

Wanda worked for Liley Funeral Homes for over 30 years in sales and as a secretary. She was a member of the Haynes Chapel Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, David Foster; sons, the Rev. Bill (Jill) Myers of Laurel, Mississippi, and the Rev. Jason (Lora) Myers of Marble Hill; daughter, Becky Myers of Marble Hill; brothers, Richard Lincoln of Linneus, Missouri, and Gary (Beverly) Lincoln of Marble Hill; sisters, Helen (Bill) Jackson of Jackson; Patricia (Randy) Hendricks of Advance, Missouri; and LaDonna (Larry) Petzoldt of Altenburg, Missouri; and grandchildren, Emily Grace Myers, John Sherman Myers, Ivy Kay Myers, Elsie Marie Myers and Seth Michael Gloth. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman William and Elsie Lou Upchurch Lincoln; brothers, Max, Jack and Donald Lincoln; and sisters, Mary Lou Ozment and Linda Sims.

Public visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Haynes Chapel Congregational Methodist Church. Funeral service will be at noon Saturday with the Revs. Bill and Jason Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery in Scopus, Missouri.

Because of Cape Girardeau County Health Department mandate, masks will be required for the visitation and service.
