Barbara Weiss

Barbara K. Weiss, 81, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at her home.

She was born Jan. 4, 1939, in Marion, Illinois, to William Herple and Lillian Thomas Burton.

She and Robert Dale Weiss were married Aug. 26, 1960, in Cape Girardeau.

Barbara worked at Cape Girardeau County Abstract and Title for 50-plus years doing title research. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Dale Weiss of Cape Girardeau; son, Robert W. (Elaine) Weiss of Fenton, Missouri; grandchildren, Jared (Emily) Weiss of Kelso, Missouri; Jordan (Jessica) Weiss of Jackson; Robert J. (Tamara) Weiss of Theodore, Alabama; and Sarah (Matt) Puff of Willard, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Colton, Collin and Carter Weiss, Evelyn, Eleanor and Madalyn Puff, Robert John, Brian and Brody Weiss, Jaden and Jett Weiss.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Brian D. Weiss.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Jason Hill officiating.

Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
