GLEN ALLEN, Mo. -- Milford Edgar Rhodes, age 73, of Glen Allen passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 3, 1947, in Glen Allen, son of Glenn and Clara Elizabeth Rhodes Rhodes. He and Brenda Keith were united in marriage on June 25, 1966...

GLEN ALLEN, Mo. -- Milford Edgar Rhodes, age 73, of Glen Allen passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 3, 1947, in Glen Allen, son of Glenn and Clara Elizabeth Rhodes Rhodes. He and Brenda Keith were united in marriage on June 25, 1966.

Milford was a retired maintenance and trackman for Missouri Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Glen Allen Baptist church. Anyone who knew Milford knew his family was his world. He enjoyed hunting and farming. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Rhodes of the home; two sons Darryl (Connie) Rhodes and Kevin (Missi) Rhodes; two daughters, Angie (Jimmy) Moore and Alicia Rhodes, all of Glen Allen; two sisters, Glenda (Bob) Sitze and Gloria (Richard) Crites; 10 grandchildren, Lacey (Shannon) Barber, Dylan (Sydney) Rhodes, Corrina (Chad) Barber, Ian (Lily) Moore, Makenzie (Rudy) Brown, Kendra Rhodes, Hailey Rhodes, Kayla Rhodes, Riley Moore and Devinn Howell; and eight great-grandchildren, Talyn, Holden, Conner, Paisley, Daxton, Dayson, Cale and Ali.

He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Marie Rhodes, and grandson, Tyler Rhodes.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Officiating will be the Rev. Bob Bowen. Interment will follow in the Glen Allen Cemetery.
