La Vonna Decker, 58, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021, at her home in Old Appleton.
She was born Feb. 20, 1963, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Douglas Decker, who survives of Dexter, Missouri, and Betty Scales LaGree, who survives of Jackson with her husband, Mike LaGree.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
La Vonna graduated from Jackson High School in 1981 and cum laude from Southeast Missouri State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance. She was proud member of being a member of AA since 1988.

She is also survived by her brother, Todd Decker of O'Fallon, Missouri.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, with Brother Joe McCullough, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston, officiating.
Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
