Judy Hines, 77, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Lutheran Home.

She was born July 19, 1943, in Cape Girardeau to Leach and Mary Reynolds Shelton. Judy and Harold Hines were married Nov. 16, 1963. He preceded her in death June 17, 1998.

Judy and Harold owned and operated Hines Hauling from 1963 to 1997 and Frontier Food Store and Restaurant in Fruitland from 1988 to 1994. She enjoyed telling anyone and everyone about her grandson, Nick. She was his No. 1 fan.

Loving survivors include her son, Brad (Kelison) Hines of Cape Girardeau; and grandson, Nicholas Hines of Nashville, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Bill Jim and Joy Doyle Shelton; sisters, Marianna Austin and Shirley Montgomery.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Bill Minor officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
