PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Betty Jane Abernathy, 91, of rural Perryville, formerly of Whitewater, died Friday, April 9, 2021, at Independence Care Center in Perryville, where she had been a resident for several years.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Interment will follow in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
