Lorelei J. Schwartz Jones, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 3, 1945, in Cape Girardeau to Roy F. and Edna E. Gerecke Schwartz. She and James B. Jones were married June 10, 1967, at Cape Girardeau. He resides in Texas.

She worked in the oil industry while in Texas. She also worked in the insurance industry in Missouri.

She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include three brothers, Kirk (Michaela) Schwartz of Kansas City, Missouri, Keith (Barbara) Schwartz of Eureka, Missouri; and Craig Schwartz of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Janet Schwartz of Kansas City and Diane Schwartz of Jackson; seven nephews and three nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. April 30 at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
