Cheryl Watkins, 43, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Jan. 29, 1978, in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of Donald and Sherry Martin Voigt.

Cheryl was of the Baptist faith and a member at Caledonia Community Church in Olmsted, Illinois.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Donald Voigt; daughters, Emily and Elena Watkins of Sikeston, Missouri; son, Eyan Watkins of Sikeston; stepson, Steven Watkins of Oran, Missouri; two brothers, David (Kacie) Voigt of Villa Ridge, Illinois, and Tommy (Janet) Voigt of Paducah, Kentucky; as well as nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Voigt.

The arrangements were under the care of Liley Cremation Service in Cape Girardeau.
