Patricia Curnell

Patricia Ann Curnell, 56, of Scott City died Sunday, May 16, 2021, at her home.

She was born March 17, 1965, in Iowa City, Iowa, to William Clinton "John" and Mary "Michelle" Glazier Gilmer. She married Jeffrey D. Curnell on April 3, 2004.

She worked for Big River Telephone as a receptionist. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Scott City.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey D. Curnell of Scott City; brother, Tom (Tracey) Gilmer of Scott City; sister-in-law, Barb (Sam) Herndon of Scott City; nieces and nephews, Tommy, Timmy and Taylor Gilmer, Chelsea Brockmire and Alaina (Dave) Hucke and Kyla (Matthew) Ressel; and great-nieces and -nephews, Laythan Stone, Luke Brockmire and Logan and Ella Ressel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Susan Gilmer.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jeremy Sells officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Scott City First Baptist Church Building Fund.
