Carol Jean Trock, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at her home.

She was born Dec. 7, 1946, in Chicago to Robert W. and Virginia Hill Warning. She and Cyril "Cy" Trock were married June 8, 1968, in Cape Girardeau.

She received a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from Southeast Missouri State University.

Always industrious, Carol held many jobs over the course of her life. But her primary vocation was working alongside her husband as a painter and wallpaper hanger in the Springfield, Missouri, area.

She volunteered at Safe Harbor Thrift Store and Pastimes Antiques.

Carol was a wonderful, caring and devoted mother; it was her highest calling. She adored sharing a cup of coffee with a friend. A creative and talented person, she was happiest when painting, sewing and making wreaths. She took great delight in buying and selling antiques. She had an eye for beauty.
