Permits issued for Buzzi Unicem project, dispensary build-out

Cape Girardeau's development services office issued a pair of commercial building permits last week to:

• Buzzi Unicem USA, 2524 S. Sprigg St., for construction of an alternative-fuel rail unloading facility, including a tank farm, at an estimated construction cost of $1,025,000.
• Integrity Development and Construction for interior renovations and installation of a drive-through at Bloom Medicinal, a medical marijuana dispensary planned for 1802 Broadway. The project has an estimated cost of $150,000.
