BENTON, Mo. -- Danny Wayne Davis, 66, of Benton died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, at his home.

He was born Aug. 19, 1955, in Cape Girardeau to William Robert and Neva Dundee Dale Davis. He married Elizabeth Jane Farmer on April 19, 1997, in Benton.

He worked for Foamex until his retirement in 2010.

Danny is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Benton; daughter-in-law, Karrie Farmer of Sikeston, Missouri; mother-in-law, Violet Farmer of Sikeston; two brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jaret Farmer, and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City was in charge of arrangements.
