Betty Jean Crites, 50, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021.
She was born June 7, 1971, in Chaffee, Missouri, to Norman Otto and Mary Lou Ahrens Crites.
Betty was a 1990 graduate of Oak Ridge High School.
She was a sweet and caring person, who loved her family. She always helped others when she could, putting them before herself. She dedicated 26 years to her job at Quality Packaging.
Betty leaves behind a son, Jordan Carter, daughter, Jennifer Lynn Crites, brother, Glen Crites, and sister, Sarah (Dennis) Allen, all of Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol Crites; and a niece, Shayleigh Smith.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral will follow at noon Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tony Bartoski officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
