Christine Marie Austin, 82, passed away Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at her home.

She was born July 31, 1939, in Lostant, Illinois, to the late Ibax and Marie Huffine. Christine was united in marriage April 5, 1956, to William Glen Austin.

She retired as a administrator of Maple Crest Manor in 2003.

She is survived by her loving husband; two sons, Ronnie (Carolyn) Austin of Navasota, Texas, and Brian Austin of Cape Girardeau,; two daughters, Beverly Swihart of Warrensburg, Missouri, and Connie (Lucky) Vander of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Paul Miller officiating. Interment will take place at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
