E. Janice McClard, 91, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 10, 1930, daughter of the late Omer and Ora Wampler of Whitewater. Janice and Leo McClard were united in marriage on March 1, 1949, and he passed away July 3, 2021.

She was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church.

Janice is survived by her son, Bruce McClard of Jackson; three daughters, Lynne (Dean) Stroud of Jackson and Lisa (Mike) Biri of Jackson and Dana (John) Ayres of Eldorado, Arkansas; brother, Wayne Wampler of Dallas, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo McClard, and eight siblings.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at noon Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor John Ayres officiating. Burial will take place in Lorimier cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
