Johnnie Marie Withrow, 69, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, at the Heartland Care and Rehab Center. She was born Jan. 23, 1952, in Advance, Missouri, the daughter of Richard and Betty Alton McCain. Johnnie worked for 20 years with the disabled for the State of Missouri at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center in Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri. Johnnie Marie Withrow, 69, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, at the Heartland Care and Rehab Center.

She was born Jan. 23, 1952, in Advance, Missouri, the daughter of Richard and Betty Alton McCain.

Johnnie worked for 20 years with the disabled for the State of Missouri at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center in Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Berkley, Missouri.

Johnnie and Delbert Withrow were united in marriage July 29, 1974, in Butler County, Missouri, and he preceded her in death May 6, 2021.

Survivors include two sons, Jeremy (Linda) Withrow of Cape Girardeau and John (Amber) Withrow of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Richard Dale McCain of Kennewick, Washington; a sister, Mary Lou Stevens of Scott City; and a grandchild and two stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Nancy Abner.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at the chapel, with the Rev. John Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
