Dennis Enyart

Dennis G. Enyart, 69, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at his home.

He was born Aug. 25, 1952 in Pryor, Oklahoma, to Donald and Millie Ragsdale Enyart.

He and Donald E. Cox Jr. were married Aug. 14, 2015, in Cape Girardeau.

Dennis retired from banking and most recently retired from Mondi in 2017. He was a member of the Cape Girardeau Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3775.

He is survived by his husband, Donald E. Cox Jr.; stepdaughter, Amber (Greg) Vaughn of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Carol Moss of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Connie (Dick) Holland of Chouteau, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Presley Sides and Whitley Vaughn; nieces and nephew, Chad Holland, Rachel Wells and Ashley Winegar; mother-in-law, Darlene McLemore; and numerous extended family, many friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be from 1 to 5 p.m. March 5 at Cape Girardeau Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3775, 321 N. Spring Ave., in Cape Girardeau.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
