He was born July 2, 1961, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Bobby and Judith Hobbs Price. Mike married Tina Finchum on April 11, 1992, at New Bethel Baptist Church near Pocahontas, where he and Tina formerly attended church.

Mike was a 1980 graduate of Illmo-Scott City High School, where he was active in sports.

Mike worked 33 years as a forklift operator at Newell Rubbermaid in Jackson and 22 years as a cashier at Walmart in Jackson.

Mike showed his patriotism as an active member of the VFW 3838 Men's Auxiliary in Cape Girardeau, where he faithfully helped with the poppy campaign. On the rare occasion that he had spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football and traveling, but above all, he loved being with his grandchildren.
